Karanga Language Academy is an innovative startup English school located in the vibrant neighbourhood of Kita-Senju, Tokyo, Japan. Our mission is to create a dynamic and immersive learning environment where students of all ages can master the English language, develop cultural fluency, and build the confidence to thrive in a globalized world. Co-Founder & Academic Course Director

Iain Hair

Iain is from the UK and is a fan of soccer and a huge Liverpool FC fan. He has also worked as a lecturer at Waseda University and Chiba University, and as a full-time corporate lecturer for many years.

Co-Founder & Chief Administrative Officer

Sachie Hair

Sachie returned from California, in the USA, where she lived for 10 years. She ran a dog grooming salon while living there, and is now the mother of a lively 4 year old child.

Instructor

Antoinette Gupton

Antoinette is originally from the USA and she loves horror movies. Her nickname is Aniko-chan and she has lived in Korea. Aniko is a friendly and cheerful instructor.
